Food as Sculptured Art - A Gourmet Short Course Taught by World Champion Carver Chef Armando Baisas

Register for a Two - Day Fruit, Vegetable and Pumpkin Carving Short Course
October 21st and 22nd, 2011 or October 28th and 29th, 2011

Impress your friends at Halloween! Learn how to carve the perfect pumpkin and decorate your table with fruit and vegetable carvings this October.

Day 1: Fruit and Vegetable Carving Demo and Practical
Demo: 4:30pm – 7pm, Practical: 7:30pm – 10pm

Be prepared to be amazed in this fruit and vegetable carving demonstration and practical course taught by World Carving Champion Chef Armando Baisas. Learn techniques to turning ordinary fruit, vegetables and pumpkins into works of art –and then create your own masterpieces in the practical portion of the class.

Day 2: Pumpkin Carving Workshop
12pm to 5pm

Your Jack-O-Lantern will have a new look this year! Learn how to make an intricate and professional design and then bring it to life by carving it onto a pumpkin that you can take home with you to impress your neighbours.
