Dear friends and supporters of Lotus Outreach, The stakes are high as we enter the closing days of the Girl Effect Challenge, and we need your help more than ever. Studies show that the most successful online fundraisers actively engage their supporters in the donor recruiting process, so we are calling on you! Help us and WIN A GREAT PRIZE! From now until the close of the challenge (November 15, 2011 @ 11:59 EST), the top three people to “recruit” the most unique donors to our Blossom Bus project will win their choice of a previously unreleased, limited edition giclee-on-canvas calligraphy print by our Chairman and Founder, Khyentse Norbu (each valued at $900). These beautiful, original-sized calligraphies on stretched canvas are the first of a nine-print series, and the top three winners will have their pick (in order of ranking). No shipping costs, no geographic limitations. If you place in the top three, we will have your ready-to-hang work of art at your door in a matter of weeks! You can view the available calligraphies here. The rules are simple. Spread the word by email, phone and social media and be sure to ask your friends to tell you if they donated to the Blossom Bus. Keep a running tally of those who donate by email address, and send us your list at the close of the challenge. In order for a donation to be eligible, the contributor cannot remain anonymous when they donate (if they do, we will have no way to verify the contribution). Donations must be verifiable by email address, meaning text-to-donate and check donations are not eligible. Remember, it is not the amount of money you raise, but the number of donors you recruit, and only new donors to the challenge will be counted. Tuesday only: all donations matched 30% Need a kick-start? Starting at 12:01AM EST November 8, GlobalGiving will be matching all donations (up to $1,000 per donor, per project) at 30%. There is $5,000 available in matching funds. Matching will last until funds run out (or until 11:59PM EST). See complete terms and conditions here. |
