Dear friends of Lotus Outreach The time is here! Beginning today (June 13) at midnight EDT (9:00 PM PDT June 12), your donations to our brand new Phnong Education Initiative project on GlobalGiving will be matched 150%! This rare opportunity is made possible by a generous donor that has offered $7,000 in matching funds along with GlobalGiving’s second annual bonus day. Raising $7,000 in a single day is quite a challenge, but you have proven time and again that you can help us rise to the occasion. Your donations will help us continue educating dozens of young girls in Mondulkiri, Cambodia, and every penny raised today - including matching funds - will go directly to the project on the ground. Almost as important as donating? Helping spread the word! Forward this email to your friends and family to share this exciting opportunity to multiply their charitable giving. You can also share this with your friends on Facebook and Twitter using the social sharing buttons below. Additional details / fine print - GlobalGiving's 50% match will apply for donations up to $1,000 until funds run out ($75,000 in matching funds is available, but will go fast so be sure to donate early)!
- Our private donor's additional 100% match will apply for donations up to $1,000 until the project reaches its goal of $7,000. This match will not be reflected on the GlobalGiving project page and will be awarded after the campaign has wrapped.
- Only credit card and PayPal donations processed through the Phnong Education Initiative project page on GlobalGiving will qualify. Checks, text-to-donate gifts and contributions made through lotusoutreach.org will not be eligible for matching funds.
- If our project raises the most funds or recruits the most unique donors, we will also be eligible for bonus prizes of $1,000 from GlobalGIving. You can track our status on the GlobalGiving Bonus Day leaderboard by clicking here.
Please feel free to contact us at info@lotusoutreach.org with questions and comments. Thank you for helping us empower the powerless! Warmly, Lotus Outreach | |
