<div>The Flinders Yunggorendi First Nations Centre for Higher Education and Research has established an Honours Scholarship to provide financial assistance to an undergraduate student undertaking an honours program at Flinders University.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div><b>BENEFITS </b></div>
<div><b>&nbsp;</b></div>
<div>Subject to the availability of funds, two scholarships valued at $3,000 each will be awarded annually. The Scholarship is funded by Yunggorendi First Nations Centre for Higher Education and Research, and will continue as long as there is sufficient funding.</div>
<div><b>&nbsp;</b></div>
<div><b>ELIGIBILITY </b></div>
<div><b>&nbsp;</b></div>
<div>Applicants must: (a) be of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; (b) identify as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, and be accepted as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander by the community in which they live or have lived; (c) be currently completing or have completed an undergraduate degree of the University, or be currently completing or have completed 108 units of a 144 unit bachelor degree program; (d) be commencing an Honours program at Flinders University, or the fourth year of a 144 unit bachelor degree program; and (e) be resident in South Australia.</div>

<div><b>APPLICATION </b></div>
<div><b>&nbsp;</b></div>
<div>The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and a personal statement.&nbsp; Selection will be made by a Selection Committee, which shall comprise the Director, Yunggorendi First Nations Centre for Higher Education and Research, the Coordinator, Tjilbruke Student Services and the Executive Officer. Scholarship recipients shall submit to the Centre a final written report on their Honours research project within one month of completion.

Applications must be made on the prescribed form which can be downloaded from the University&rsquo;s scholarships website, or available from Yunggorendi First Nations Centre. Applications must be lodged by the designated date each year for commencement in either semester one or semester two of the specified academic year.</div>
