Guest speaker for the evening was 2009 MasterChef finalist and Adelaide restaurateur, Andre Ursini. Andre owns and runs Andre's Cucina and Polenta Bar, a traditional Italian style bistro with a relaxed, shared dining atmosphere. Andre inspired our graduates as they embark upon their career with tales of his hospitality journey. He encouraged graduates to innovate in their work practises and to take challenges as opportunities. This year over 150 graduates from the Bachelors and Masters programs returned to Adelaide to celebrate the successful completion of their program with family and friends, industry guests and dignitaries. | | | Sweet Tastes for Indonesia Culinary Graduate Stella Lowis opens online pâtisserie Indonesian Stella Lowis is an Alumni of the Le Cordon Bleu Diplôme de Pâtisserie. Upon graduating Stella returned to her home town of Medan, North Sumatra to open online pâtisserie, La Maison Pâtisserie. Part time model/ part time baker, Stella creates beautiful hand-crafted cupcakes, special occasion cakes and macarons for her discerning clients.
