The Danish Stem Cell Center (DanStem) at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Copenhagen, Denmark offers Postdoctoral Fellowship, PhD scholarship and a Research Assistant position

Eligibility

  • Highly motivated and ambitious candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates for the Postdoctoral fellowship must hold a PhD degree.
  • Candidates for the PhD scholarship should have a master's degree in developmental or stem cell biology or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to the master's degree.
  • Candidates for the research assistant position should have a master's degree in developmental or stem cell biology or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to the master's degree.

  • Motivated letter of application - including a clear mention of which fellowship is applied for.
  • Curriculum vitae - incl. education, experience, previous employments, language skills and other relevant skills
  • Certified copy of diploma/degree certificates for MSc and for postdoctoral candidates a PhD certificate

The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research (CPR) at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Copenhagen offers two postdoctoral fellowships. The projects will focus on investigating how chromatin accessibility regulates DNA repair and recombination in lymphocytes using mouse genetics and biochemistry as key methods, coupled with genomic and proteomic approaches.

Eligibility:

  • A PhD in biochemistry, genetics, immunology, cancer biology, or a similar field is required.
  • Excellent publication record along with experience in the generation or characterization of mouse models, flow cytometry, cytogenetics and chromatin immunoprecipitation will be considered distinct advantages.
  • The successful candidates will be expected to drive their own research project, actively participate in laboratory meetings and help to train students.
