Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa students gathered for a special presentation and lively discussion of the Peruvian cookbook "The Art of Peruvian Cuisine" with the Peruvian Ambassador - José Antonio Bellina, the Deputy Head of Mission Peru - Roberto Rodriguez, and the Consular Attaché - Jose Alberto Ortiz.

Alumni: Rahim Abdullah
Grand Diplôme 2009

Rahim left behind his previous career as an accountant to follow his true passsion for culinary arts. Since graduating from Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa, Rahim has enjoyed sweet success as Pastry Chef at Toqué, a 5 Diamond CAA/AAA rated restaurant in Montreal,QC Canada. Toqué was also rated as the best Debeur restaurant in 2005 and has received the guide's highest rating of four stars over the past several years.

His hands-on training in classic French techniques taught Rahim to "respect the basics"
