Launch of new website

Launch of new website

Dear members, partners and friends,

The Global Sustainable Electricity Partnership is celebrating 20 years since its founding. For two decades we have promoted sustainable energy development. In June 2011 we adopted our new name to reflect the opening of our membership to countries in transition, reflecting our commitment to a truly global mission.

With a new name and new year comes a new face and we are proud to announce to you the launch of our new website! Here are some of the new highlights:
  • We will keep you regularly informed about our projects, missions, publications, and positions on policy issues. Check out our latest news section on our homepage for up-to-date information.
  • We have new easy-to-consult renewable energy and capacity-building project pages which feature a quick summary of key objectives for each project, as well as its status and detailed description.
  • We also have a new video section in our Projects page where you can see the videos of many of our completed renewable energy projects.
  • Please visit our Summits page for information regarding our annual Chairmen meeting. The last Summit in New York was featured in the news by other international organizations so make sure you visit that page to see the videos of the news coverage!
  • And if you are interested in following us on YouTube, subscribe to our channel globalelectricity to be the first to know when we post our latest videos!

We encourage you to visit us at www.globalelectricity.org. We thank you for our encouraging support. Let’’s put together energy into action for sustainable energy development around the globe!

Sincerely,

The Geneneral Secretariat Team
