National Scholarships are awarded on the basis of outstanding academic performance to candidates who demonstrate ability for creative and innovative thought and a passion for the pursuit of learning. National Scholarships also recognize exceptional achievement in extracurricular activities such as the arts and athletics.
Eligibility
For scholarship consideration you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and have obtained a minimum overall academic average of 90% on all Grade 12U/M courses.
National Scholarships are available only at Western's main campus and Faculty Entrance Scholarships are available only within the faculty for which the scholarship has been awarded.
You must make an admission application to The University of Western Ontario (main campus) to be considered for these scholarships and you must register as a full-time student.
International Baccalaureate and CEGEP students are eligible for consideration. The Beryl Ivey Continuing Entrance Award has a financial need component.
A supplemental application in addition to the National Scholarship application is required for students to be considered.
The Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) and the ASEAN Foundation (AF) offer 5 (five) scholarships for ASEAN nationals (except Thai citizen) who are interested to pursue a Master Degree at the CGI. Selection of successful applicants will be based on merit.
Eligibility
Scholarships are open to bonafide ASEAN nationals (except Thai citizen)
Hold a Bachelor's Degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00
Applicants with at least 2 years work experiences in related field will receive favorable consideration
Applicants must have demonstrated English proficiency, preferably on one of two recognized test of language proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS)
Applicants must provide a statement of purpose explaining their interests in the study

Eligibility
has a record of service to women and children and a commitment to improve the lives of women and children in developing countries
resides in the U.S. or Canada at the time she submits the application
is enrolled (in residence) at an accredited U.S. or Canadian educational institution for the academic year 2011-2012, and intends to be enrolled for the 2012-2013 academic year
will use the grant toward the completion of her degree
is a national of a lower or middle income developing member country, as designated by the MMMF Country Eligibility List
is not a U.S. or Canadian citizen, permanent U.S. resident or Canadian Landed Immigrant
intends to return to her country (or other developing country) within two years of completing use of the MMMF grant and perform at least two years of service
demonstrates financial need and satisfactory academic performance
is at least 25 years old by December 31, 2011
is not related to a World Bank Group staff member or his/her spouse
